WE were fortunate enough to be FRONT and CENTER on opening night for “BETTE MIDLER – THE SHOWGIRL MUST GO ON” in VEGAS last year…and let US tell you DAHHHLINGS…it was FIERCE.
The DIVINE MISS M is the TOAST of “SIN CITY” and is simply NOT to be missed.
WHAT A SHOW….BETTE’S still got about a year left on her contract with CESAR’S PALACE…and WE heartily recommend you make the effort to catch a performance.

THAT “PERFECT” LINE comes from BETTE’S 1968 CAMP CLASSIC, “THE ANNIVERSARY.”
BETTE’S had many great lines on film, but this one truly TAKES THE CAKE in OUR opinion.
OH…THE ANNIVERSARY is really a DREADFUL film, but BETTE, strutting around in an eye patch doing a FABULOUS lampoon of HER own overblown persona, has NEVER been more ENTERTAINING !

PIERCE was FIERCE, and a WONDERFUL FRIEND, and OUR ABSOLUTE FAVORITE…WE miss HIM DEARLY !
